Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts.

      Hey you guys!!

It's November, know what that means? The month of thankfulness! There's so much I'm thankful for. For starters; My parents and grandparents, for supporting me through everything we've gone through to get me where I am today and teaching me everything I know. My sister, who is always there for me, no matter what. My friends for cheering me on and reminding me that it is possible. Also my music teacher, who taught me how to sing and play piano and is currently preparing me for an AP Music Theory  test.  Due to  taking lessons from her, I can sing and play piano so much better than I ever would have without her. And of course I'm thankful to God, for EVERYTHING! :D

This month you could show everyone just how thankful you are for them. Maybe cook a dish for the Thanksgiving meal, even if you're not that good a cook, they'll appreciate the fact you're willing to try. Buy or make them a gift that they actually have a use for. And remember, just telling them "THANK YOU" always works too. :{) People with a poor attitude who aren't thankful for what they have, don't have much going their way, or at least that's what they think. Truthfully, it's just that they don't see and recognize the good things in life, because their attitude blocks it, and if something good comes their way,  they don't notice it.  People with good attitudes about everything are happier, because they're thankful for what they have. What kind of person are you?

I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.
                                                                                                             ~Woody Allen

Being thankful can improve your life, people who count their blessings are generally healthier and more joyful than those who don't. If you ever think that something in your life isn't all as you think it should be, try practicing a thankful attitude, and you might realise that you're blessed to have all that you have. Some people aren't as lucky as you. Have fun and don't be the person who is ALWAYS serious. There's a time for being serious and a time for fun. Don't dwell on the past or stare into the future. You won't be able to notice how spectacular it is now if you do. Think of everyhting you have that you're thankful for, maybe it's a parent, sibling, best friend or even a teacher. It can be things you have too, like a place to live or clean water to drink, the list goes on and on. So what exactly are you thankful for? Leave a comment in the comment box below! :{) I, am thankful for you, dear reader. :{) Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.
