"Getting Off on a Good Foot"

Starting off on the right foot

In a relationship one of the most important events is the beginning.  What you do in the beginning may prove how wonderful, and how valuable you are, as well as honest, and trustworthy.  When in the relationship you need to consider everything important, being aware and taking things seriously leads to successful relationships.

Be sure to be respectful, and do not ask for too much, keep things concentrated on the things that matter.  Focus on the relationship and learning about each others personality.

Do these things

  • Picture yourself with them.  Can you see yourself with them for a long time?
  • Ask questions.  Favorite foods? Favorite music?  Just discover as much as possible.
  • And be inviting; focus on learning their personality.

These things will help you start off the relationship right, and discover if the person you chose is the right person.  The thing is you can change a person if they are willing to change, if you have a person that has the mindset of "Im not gonna change for nobody"  then you do not need that kind of person.  Relationships are about change, and you have to be willing to change for the better. Keep in mind that only certain things should be changed.  Stubborness, and selfishness is the monster in a relationship.  99% of fights and arguments will be because of either stubborness or selfishness.

Eliminate the stubborness and selfishness and you are already off to a great start :) - Seth
